Romans 3:21 NKJV
But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
Paul took time to write about the subject of circumcision and no circumcision to the church in Galatia and to the church in Ephesus. These things were significant because it was a big deal back then. There was a mighty division amongst the people because the law was given by God as an ordinance to follow and folks did follow it to the letter and it became one of the major things that connected people to God in a direct way but the Gentiles weren’t connected.
So when Apostle Paul wrote that the righteousness had been manifested apart from the law and the law and the prophets bore witness to it, it was a confusing thing because what was in order then was almost contrary to what is obtainable, that you can be righteous without the law and it was a perfect thing. It was a war or a body of knowledge that was strange, but thanks be to God who gave us all things to enjoy.
